Service Technician

We are looking for a Full-Time, highly motivated, Auto Technician/Mechanic to join our team. We are a busy automotive shop and service all makes and models. We will provide Ford training the right candidate to further their career experience. We are a fast-growing, grow from within Ford dealership that supports the Grants, NM and rural area, ranching and mining industry. 


Ed Corley Ford has a full-service shop. We sell New Ford, Certified Pre-owned and used cars at the dealership. We are looking for Ford Certified Technicians or Master Technician equivalent. Our service department is a fast-paced environment serving a large number of clients throughout New Mexico and based in Grant. This is an opportunity to join a successful team giving top priority to the customer experience. 


*Must have own tools 

*Ford Certification and previous experience as a Ford automotive technician a plus 

* or Master Technician equivalent

*Must be willing to work some Saturdays

Sales Associate

Brief Description:

We are looking for a sales associate for our customer-focused dealership. The sales associate is responsible for providing service to our customers. More specifically, the sales associate will be conducting customer assessments, performing demonstrations, building long term relationships, facilitating customer understanding, providing customer advocacy and deal representation during sales, delivering a quality, well-presented vehicle, following up on unclosed customers and above all, giving the customer a pleasant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities,
  • and features; taking test drives; comparing and contrasting competitive
  • models; explaining warranties and services
  • Prospect daily for potential customers; maintain consistent rapport
  • with previously sold customers
  • Maintain an owner follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
  • Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits to the customer
  • Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and be devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers
  • Establish personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals
  • Learn to overcome objections; ask for the sale; negotiate price; complete sales or purchase agreement; explain and offer warranties, services, and finance
  • Provide sales management information by completion reports.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures

Lot Attendant

Lot Attendants (part-time)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs
  • Moves and works with vehicles to maintain vehicle display and support vehicle sales activities
  • Delivers vehicles to sites and locations as required
  • Thoroughly clean (wash, vacuum and polish) and maintain all vehicles
  • Install disposable covers and floor mats in vehicle interiors being serviced
  • Apply chemical protecting coating to front of vehicles and windshields
  • Monitor tire pressure of vehicles; add air and fuel as needed.
  • Recognize general vehicle repairs and/or building maintenance and notify management
  • Prepare sold vehicles for delivery
  • Prioritize vehicles that need to be prepped for delivery or washed based on general appearance
  • Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot
  • Set up and remove displays and associated material for special events
  • Assist the shuttle driver as needed
  • Run miscellaneous errands for the store
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Must have solid driving and parking skills
  • Must be able to keep up with a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to maintain professional demeanor

Skills/Qualifications

  • Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
