When you think “artist” what comes to mind first? Someone who dresses in dramatic black clothes and wears thick eyeliner? A stark, thin pencil of a person sporting a huge, unusual hat as their trademark?
Alice Gao is an artist, though you might not expect it from the outside. She doesn’t dress flamboyantly or wear any giant, trademark accessories. She has, however, accepted a fun challenge from Ford as part of its “Switch it Up” challenge. Alice has to stop strangers on the street who are dressed fashionably and ask to take their photo.
Then she has to narrow down the looks into her single favorite and try to recreate it at a local vintage shop. It looks like a lot of fun!
