If you’re looking for a midsize sedan with a sporty persona, but don’t want to go full luxury, Ford has introduced quite the winning proposition: the 2017 Fusion Sport. And where many other competing sedans offer a “sport” model, few offer such a high level of performance. To see just how above the cut the Fusion Sport is, Autoblog took it out for a test drive.

Just as marketed, the Fusion Sport blows it competitors out of the water with its power numbers and driving dynamics. Autoblog found that the 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6, which originated in the F-150 pickup, didn’t have any of the turbo lag that was found in its larger sibling. Although it doesn’t come with the performance gadgetry found in luxury variants, it still offers an addictive driving experience, especially in straight-line throttle response.

To get your first taste of the new Fusion Sport, stop by our Ford dealership in Grants, NM and schedule to take one for a test drive. We’d be more than happy to answer any questions you may have, so contact our sales team by phone or live chat at your convenience.
